Thanks! That's exactly what I was worried about on the Preway. The oven t stat valve won't turn at all, frozen in time. Everything costs more than you think. VK

Vikx, that t stat might work fine once the valve is freed up. It could be as simple as some penetrating oil on it to get it moving. I'm thinking about going to the junkyard and finding a modern stove...
